Christopher Kane and The Rug Company has collaborated to create an inaugural collection of five handcrafted rugs and one cushion.

Combining multiple inspirations from past collections, the collaboration reflects Christopher Kane's immediately recognisable style. Renowned for transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, Christopher Kane's highly creative and playful house signatures are married with the masterful weaving techniques for which The Rug Company is renowned. Each rug is meticulously handwoven using age-old weaving techniques in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The Botanical Anatomy rug takes inspiration from the iconic floral motif, first seen in the Spring Summer 2014 collection. Handcrafted from a combination of rich silk yarns and Tibetan wool, the Botanical Anatomy rug is available in two colourways; a dusky blush and soft smokey grey.

Rich in dimension and texture, the Filigree rug features an interlocking, graphic motif that was first seen in the Autumn Winter 2013 collection in intricate lace fabrics and metal accessories.

The Grid Construct and Wave Construct rug designs are inspired by the Autumn Winter 2009 collection, which references the Mackintosh chairs from the Willow Tearooms in Glasgow, Scotland.
